I really can't wait until the young voices concert its going to be so much fun!!!! we're going to be singing with all angels and vv brown!! the songs are all AMAZING but my favourite is pink panther. today choir had a picture taken which is going to be in the pocklington post. my favourite song is the pink panther.choir had to put lots of effort and practise into it but it should be FANTASTIC!!!

Would you like to measure it with me? Come and see Mrs Stone one break time and we will discuss what we have to do.

REPLY FROM PCJS:- Matthew what a FANTASTIC question to ask! However, rather than answer it for you I am going to ask you to go onto the front playground at school, look around and then report back to the website with your findings, I think you will find the answer when you do this. (If you are struggling though, ask Mrs Coppinger, it could become a good class discussion).
Meanwhile, does anyone else already know the answer?

I love this website so much I come on nearly every week to see what new things are on it.today in engilish we did about books and why we read them and when we read them and tomorrow we are talking to the class about our favourite book and why we like to read the book! I'm just starting to work on what im going to say!

hi im loving year 6 and its so fun having mrs carlise she is so fun and her art work is amazing!! we've just finished our mystery story and were doing something more exciting! cant wait for SAT's and robinwood it looks absolutly amazing! Hello everyone I found out my sats results on friday and I am really really happy because I did not think I would get what I actually got. My time has come to a end now at pcjs and I will be really really sad when we leave on friday. and I know you all will miss us as well .

I cannot believe it has been about four years from when I last saw you. I'm moving away from kent and back up the road in 2010 so I am hoping to drop in and visit, cheyenne will be too shy though and wont come. Hello, I attended PCJS in the late 80's and moved to Canada in 1990. I fondly remember Ms Lydia Noor and many of my class-mates but have lost touch with everyone. I believe I was in year 5 when I moved and if anyone has a class list from then (or a class photo) that would be great. Thanks a bunch, Michelle.

Hi everyone (just to say I am going to be posting on this site alot more now...!) I hope everyone is having fun at your high schools, just like Abbie says it is scary at High School the first day but you get used to it! If you'd like to see which high school I go to just search for "North Walsham High School" in google and it is the second one on the list you can't miss it. It's an Arts College like Woldgate and 87% of drama students and 100% of B-Tech students got a C-grade or higher.
Anyway I'm sure everyone at Pocklington Junior are enjoying themselves so far this term (Even though you say you don't!) and I'm certain you'll have lots of fun this year...well, most of the time!

I remember my time at the school, every Thursday we had maths with Mr Carr, everyone use to dread this lesson. We call it Black Thursday and we had 40 maths questions to answer within a given time. I still speak to his eldest daughter about the scary moment..

Hi PCJS, the 100th birthday celebration was fab, the meal was yum and the presentations the whole school did for it were great. I have only till July until I leave to go to Woldgate!

Hi everyone! Carlton Lodge was great! This website is amazing but i think we need some better backgrounds because white could be better if it was pink or gold or something. This is my last year at this school-sob! Sob! Mrs Carlisle is the best teacher ever but stand right out of her way if she is angry!

The company is in the process of a large upgrade of its website so we are hoping for lots of changes in the near future. Still check us out when you go to Woldgate though.
