23 Sep 2009 - Fire! Or was it?

There was a little change to the school timetable today -  a fault on one of the computers in the I.C.T. suite resulted in smoke and fumes emitting from the back of the base unit/hard drive. Mrs Phillipps bravely activated the fire alarm to ensure all staff and children evacuated the building promptly as the fumes can be extremely dangerous. The fire brigade were called to check the computer and eradicate the fumes, eventually giving the all clear that it was safe to enter the building.

All children were accounted for, no other damage was caused to the school and no one came to any harm. Well done to all of you for leaving the building so sensibly and in an orderly manner.
