13 Feb 2006 - Former Pupil

A lady called Sally James, now a doctor, visited our school this day. She now lives in Kent but informed us that she was a pupil here in 1956. Although she couldn't recognise most of the school due to our several extensions over the years, she was delighted to see the year 3 classrooms which were part of the original building. She remembered the tall windows and even the fireplace in Mrs Marwood's classroom, she also remembered school being very cold. Her teacher at the time said she was particularly good at her times tables. It brought back happy memories for Sally.
